A well-established bank is looking for a VP (Senior Manager) to join their Treasury Operations Team.
Your new role
Lead and oversee a Treasury Operations team of 3–4, covering the full settlement lifecycle of wholesale banking treasury products, including FX and Money Market products, derivatives, structured products, fixed income, Interest Rate Swaps, and custody, to deliver operational excellence and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Manage and control all daily treasury operations transactions, ensuring that all relevant controls are performed accurately and in accordance with the Bank’s standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.
Represent the Treasury Operations team in management and risk committees, contributing to risk management and control oversight and enhancing overall operational governance.
Monitor and maintain data accuracy within the Treasury Operations systems.
Participate in project task forces and support system development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new business initiatives, including process streamlining, automation, workflow enhancement, and digitalization initiatives.
Ensure department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are established, well‑maintained, and regularly updated to strengthen settlement risk mitigation and control implementation.
Drive continuous process re‑engineering initiatives to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce operational and settlement risks.
Foster a strong performance and risk‑aware culture, promoting accountability, integrity, and a commitment to operational excellence within the team.
What you'll need to succeed
University degree holder, preferably in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Over 8 years of experience in the banking sector, with solid exposure to Global Markets and/or Treasury Operations.
Strong product knowledge of treasury and markets products and associated operational processes, with the ability to lead a team to deliver high‑quality operational services.
Good understanding of banking regulations, internal policies, procedures, practices, and risk control frameworks.
Proven team leadership skills, with strong communication abilities and a high level of risk awareness.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
