Your new role

As VP, Operational Risk, you will lead the development and implementation of operational risk frameworks, policies, and controls. You will oversee risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with senior management and business units to strengthen risk culture and resilience.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the operational risk management framework, policies, and procedures across the organization.
• Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation strategies.
• Lead risk and control self-assessment (RCSA), key risk indicators (KRI) reporting, and incident management processes.
• Collaborate with business units and senior stakeholders to strengthen risk culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present operational risk reports to senior management and regulators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 10 years of experience in operational risk management within securities or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk frameworks (Basel, HKMA, SFC).
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical skills, and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
