Our business partner is a regional bank that is seeking experienced sales in Cash Management to support the growth of their transaction banking business.
Your new role
As a critical member in the team, you will be responsible to:
- Partner with Client Relationship Teams and internal business units to drive liabilities growth, with a primary focus on acquiring new CASA‑led Cash Management relationships and operating account mandates.
- Deepen client engagement to grow and defend CASA balances, increasing account stickiness and overall wallet of share from Cash Management solutions.
- Originate and execute balance‑driven Cash Management opportunities, including payables, receivables, liquidity management, and account structuring solutions to maximize client deposits.
- Support the development and enhancement of Cash Management and liquidity products that drive sustainable deposit growth and improve client operating account usage.
- Streamline Transaction Banking (TB) processes to enhance onboarding efficiency, improve client experience, and accelerate balance activation and utilization.
- Collaborate with Head Office and regional teams on liabilities‑focused Cash Management initiatives, including regional deposit strategies, product pre‑positioning, pricing, and balance optimization frameworks.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to incorporate CASA and liquidity objectives into overall client coverage plans and financing discussions.
- Drive effective cross-selling of liabilities‑supportive products, including Trade Finance, Global Markets, and Lending solutions, to reinforce operating account primacy and balance retention.
- Ensure disciplined portfolio management with a focus on balance quality, stability, and profitability, aligned with the Bank’s liquidity and funding objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this position, a minimum 10–15+ years of relevant banking experience in Cash Management, Transaction Banking, Liabilities Sales, or Corporate Banking, with a strong focus on CASA and operating deposit growth would be required. A proven track record of originating and growing liabilities‑led relationships, including acquisition of new operating accounts and deepening CASA balances from existing clients would be advantageous. A tertiary degree coupled with proficiency in English and Chinese is a must.
