Commercial Banking Team Head (TMT)
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Commercial Banking team for the Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) segment in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the TMT sector and a proven track record in commercial banking. This role requires strategic vision, leadership, and the ability to drive business growth through innovative solutions and strong client relationships.

Your New Role:
  • Lead and manage the TMT segment commercial banking team, developing and executing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the telecom, media, and technology sectors. Leverage your network to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Drive business growth by identifying market trends, developing new products and services, and expanding the client base within the TMT sector.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risks associated with the TMT segment.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team has the skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Work closely with other departments, including risk, compliance, and product development, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial banking, with a focus on the TMT sector.
  • Strong networks and relationships within the telecom, media, and technology industries in Hong Kong.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • The ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
