Our business partner is a reputable foreign corporate bank that is seeking an experienced Trade Finance & Open Account Trade expert to join their transaction banking team.
Your new role
As an experienced member of the team, you will:
Drive trade finance sales activities, initiatives, and achievement of assigned revenue targets.
Collaborate closely with client-facing teams to identify trade opportunities, provide product expertise, and deliver tailored solutions to both existing and prospective Transaction Banking clients.
Act as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert, enhancing client relationships from a trade perspective.
Develop client call plans to assess wallet share and uncover business opportunities, and support RFP responses and client presentations.
Focus on originating and growing Open Account trade solutions (Factoring and Supply Chain Finance etc), with a strong understanding of working capital cycles across clients’ import and export ecosystems.
Partner with coverage teams to identify anchor clients and related supply chain relationships, offering advisory insights and presenting relevant domestic and cross-border solutions to drive revenue.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and business partners to ensure timely and effective delivery of client solutions from onboarding through execution.
Develop and maintain up-to-date sales materials and product knowledge, adapting quickly to market changes and emerging challenges.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in trade finance across transaction banking product and sales, coupled with strong knowledge of trade finance and Receivables Finance solutions. A tertiary degree with proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese would be appreciated. Credit knowledge and analytical capabilities with solid stakeholder management skills are required.
