Our client is an EU leading Logistic Solution provider, 3PL, committed to connecting markets and ensuring seamless delivery experiences that transcend geographical. They are looking for a new headcount for an APAC Strategic Program Manager to spearhead their growth initiatives in the Asian markets. This position will play a pivotal role in managing and executing an ambitious expansion strategy across Asia, reporting to the Director of Global Business Development and Program Management.

Your new role

  • Accelerating the development of our current portfolio, developing new solutions to major non-European destinations, and leveraging the strength of our postal network to create new solutions for smaller non-European destinations.
  • Explore and develop business opportunities for inbound and outbound cross-border B2C e-commerce in new Asian countries, such as South-East Asia, Japan or Korea.
  • Leverage existing product portfolio with major Asian e-commerce and platforms.
  • Collaborate with a management team in Asia to refine and implement the business strategy.
  • Develop staffing plans and build a robust program management framework to support strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the program team, ensuring smooth transition of resources from program-specific to business-as-usual roles.
  • Manage project timelines, identify risks, devise mitigation strategies, and facilitate effective solutions.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders about project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Ensure all initiatives are aligned with the company’s long-term strategic goals.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Supply Chain or other relative experience
  • Minimum 10 years experience in 3PL, logistics program or project management, or related experience
  • Experience in working in global logistics, air-freight, cross-border e-commerce or supply chain management is not a must but a plus.
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and managing complex international programs.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English. Conversational Mandarin is essential.
  • Demonstrated the ability to bridge Asian and Western cultures and the ability to adjust communication styles according to the cultural context.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Travel Is needed and expected with active travelling within the first year of joining.
