Your new role
- Lead departmental budgeting, process development, and team management for import trade operations.
- Oversee monthly procurement plans, supplier contracts, and import/export documentation to ensure timely and compliant product flow.
- Coordinate with suppliers, importers, and internal teams to manage trade documentation, logistics, and financial flows.
- Manage warehouse operations, including contract negotiation, inventory control, and inbound/outbound logistics.
- Administer SAP master data and workflows for procurement, sales, inventory, and reporting.
- Monitor and support payment approval processes for trade orders.
- Ensure compliance with APAC pharmaceutical traceability platform and regulatory requirements.
- Audit and optimise overseas supply chain processes, focusing on tax and regulatory compliance.
- Provide administrative support to the Hong Kong office and assist with cross-functional tasks as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields, with experience in pharmaceutical import management will be ideal.
- 6+ years of experience in import logistics, ideally within the pharmaceutical trade in Hong Kong.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical compliance requirements, particularly in handling vaccine-related logistics and documentation.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics operations and cross-functional coordination.
- High sense of responsibility, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and bonded warehouse operations is a plus.
