Our client is a public sector services provider in Hong Kong. They are now looking for a Senior QS Manager to expand the team.

Your new role

• You will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing quantity surveying activities within the public sector.
• Expertise in handling government contracts and collaborating with QS consultants will be essential.
• Demonstrate a robust understanding of government contract processes, compliance, and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with government contracts.
• Work closely with QS consultants to provide guidance, support, and mentorship. Ensure accurate cost estimation, budget control, and adherence to project timelines.
• Oversee quantity surveying activities related to land acquisition, development, and construction projects.
• Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Prepare detailed reports on project progress, cost projections, and financial performance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or other related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of which 4 years in managerial level in implementation of governance policy
• Experienced professional with a strong background in land and property development projects
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-task to manage priorities
• Fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and written in English and Chinese
