My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Reporting Senior Manager to join their Hong Kong branch. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the bank's reputation as a trusted financial institution.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the regulatory reporting function for Hong Kong branch, ensuring accurate and timely submission of reports to regulatory authorities.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments, changes, and reporting requirements, and proactively communicate these updates to the relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams, to gather data and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting obligations.
- Lead a team of regulatory reporting professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular reviews of reporting processes and systems to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the completion of audits and address any findings or recommendations related to regulatory reporting.
- Prepare and present reports on regulatory reporting activities to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) would be advantageous.
- Extensive experience in regulatory reporting within the banking industry, preferably within a multinational bank or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory reporting requirements, including HKMA reporting guidelines and Basel III framework.
- Excellent understanding of financial products, accounting principles, and regulatory standards (e.g., IFRS, HKFRS, etc.).
- Proven track record in leading a team and managing regulatory reporting projects from inception to completion.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory guidelines and apply them to practical reporting solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
