Your new role

• Responsible for colour lab dip and bulk review/approvals using visual and/or spectrophotometer
• Update colour comment into systems and keep physical records.
• Maintain time and action on the approval process
• Maintain the core and seasonal colour palettes plus the related colour standards
• Report on suppliers/mill's colour submission performance to team manager for corrective actions.
• Conduct Munsell Hue test for internal team members or external partners
• Carry out daily facilities calibrations and maintenance
• Work closely with Raw Material team and Sourcing/Production team on colour submission and approval issues.
• Handle colour related projects assigned by the company

What you'll need to succeed

• Higher Diploma or above in Textile Chemistry, Textile Technology, Textile Colouration or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 – 8 years relevant experience in colour, print and yarn dye approval
• Solid colouring knowledge, dyestuff characteristics and print techniques
• Able to work independently with stakeholders, e.g. internal US and HK team, mills/factories
• Understand the colour approval process in Buying Office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and use of PLM system
• Good command of spoken and written English and able to communicate in Mandarin
