SBL Trader – Foreign Investment Bank

Your new company
Our client is a leading global financial services firm who is seeking an experienced Equity Finance and SBL Trader to join our dynamic Delta One Trading Team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our Securities Financing business, including establishing an SBL platform for Asian markets to generate profitable trading opportunities for the firm.

Your new role
  • Execute equity/securities finance and stock borrowing and lending trades
  • Leverage your strong network in the SBL industry to stay ahead of market trends and regulations
  • Source new inventory and build partnerships with lenders and ETF issuers
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify attractive trading opportunities
What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Securities Lending or Equity Finance
  • Proven ability to build and grow a business
  • Holds a Type 1 and/or Type license
  • Proficient in coding (Python, SQL, VBA, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
