Quantity Surveyor (Sub-contractor)

Our client is a sub-contractor seeking a QS with a construction background. Your new role

· Play a crucial role in cost estimation, project budgeting, and ensuring efficient resource allocation

· Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and other expenses

· Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop project budgets

· Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle and identify cost-saving opportunities

· Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify quantities

· Prepare and submit progress payment applications

· Assist in resolving any contractual disputes related to quantity surveying

What you'll need to succeed

· Diploma or Degree holder in Civil / Engineering / Quantity Surveying related disciplines

· Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

· Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques will be an advantages

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Attention to detail and ability to work independently

· Fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and written in English and Chinese
