Your new role

• Responsible for media relations, crisis management and public relations for the upcoming large-scale project launching.
  • Take an active role in proposing and executing the media relations plan
  • Create crisis communication plans to keep employees, customers and media updated; and ensure that assets are well in place
  • Lead a small team to plan and execute the media relations event including the development and production of the launch event, press conference, media briefing, service centre tour etc., prepare event materials, e.g., press invitation, press release, presentation PowerPoints, etc. and post-event evaluation
  • Handle media enquires, story pitching and prepare management’s speech
  • Assist to process enquiries, complaints or appeals from a wide range of stakeholders
  • Main good relationship with media networks, influencers and partners
  • Conduct the market research of social media platform guidebook and strategy (including. Facebook, IG and LinkedIn)
  • Proposed social media strategy
• Association and industry stakeholders engagement: (1) Presentation materials preparation (2) Speaker (3) Event logistic
• Any ad-hoc work as assigned

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder preferably in Communications, Journalism or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in media relations, especially in local news/ financial news media. Candidates from media agency background with crisis management experience are welcomed
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and patient with a pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills, proactive, detail-oriented, and patient.
• Highly self-motivate, able to work independently and well organize
• Strong negotiation, presentation skills and writing skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese and PowerPoint
