Project Manager - Banking (SimCorp Dimension)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of SimCorp Dimension enhancements, covering five OTC asset classes across Front, Middle, and Back Office functions.
Oversee all project streams (Front Office, IBOR, ABOR, Risk & Performance, Back Office & SWIFT), ensuring scope alignment, milestone tracking, and dependency management.
Define and maintain project plans, deliverables, timelines, and risk registers in collaboration with PMO and governance structures.
Coordinate functional leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver cohesive outcomes.
Direct configuration, testing, validation, and UAT activities, ensuring consistency across modules and adherence to best practices.
Manage go-live preparation, cutover execution, and post-implementation stabilisation, including hypercare and transition to BAU operations.
Provide regular updates, reports, and decision materials to senior management and steering committees.
Promote structured delivery methodologies, coach team members, and foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

10 years of project management experience within asset management, investment operations, or financial systems.
Proven track record of delivering SimCorp Dimension implementations or enhancements (end-to-end or major modules).
Strong knowledge of investment processes including OTC derivatives, valuation, accounting, and settlement workflows.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, IT, and vendor teams under tight deadlines.
Experience managing vendor deliverables, UAT cycles, and cutover activities.
Fluency in English, Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.
Ability to work on-site in Hong Kong within a structured project delivery framework.
