Our client is an EU leading IoT and Wireless technology, with a focus on continuous improvement and streamlining their operations. They are looking for an Operations Manager, who plays a vital role in ensuring efficient production, maintaining great partnership with their OEM suppliers and delivery of products.
Your new role
Job Requirements:
- Monitor and working with the suppliers from EMS to OEM and make sure smooth production to fulfil customer needs.
- Address any production issues or bottlenecks proactively to minimise disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain operational systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing cost, quality, and lead-time.
- Source and conduct audits of potential new suppliers to ensure they meet the company's quality standards and delivery requirements.
- Select and collaborate with appropriate Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) providers and suppliers for the manufacturing of products.
- Maintaining and optimising operational systems, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, project management, and production, to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related working experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience, ideally in IoT and wireless solution products, familiarity with electronic design processes will be a plus
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively lead and solve problems.
- Strong language skills in English and Putonghua (Mandarin).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for effective reporting and analysis.
