Our client is a historical manufacturer and currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Manager, you will be leading the team for operation procurement activities for direct and indirect procurement.
Your new role
- Lead and manage the procurement team covered all categories (direct and indirect procurement).
- Collaborate closely with user departments to understand their procurement needs and provide efficient procurement support, ensuring compliance and risk management.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers, RFQ, P2P and monitoring vendor performance.
- Conduct thorough market research and supplier assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and delivering maximum value to the company.
- Maintain regular contact with contractors and vendors to ensure the provision of high-quality services, including but not limited to staff canteen, office renovation, shuttle bus, telecommunication, cleaning, and sanitisation services.
- Continuously review and improve procurement process, driving efficiency, end to end operation
- Governance the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents and consolidation of received tenders, while ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
- Contribute to the development of green procurement policies and support the implementation of corporate sustainability initiatives.
- Assist in the review and enhancement of related company policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Hold a degree in Supply Chain and Procurement, a relevant discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years of people management experience
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in both direct procurement and vendor process.
- Exhibit a mature personality and possess strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in written, spoken English and Chinese.
