Your new company

Our client is a US Electronic product recycling business, and they are starting a new office in Hong Kong, they are looking for a Procurement & Sourcing executive to join their dynamic team. This position will be working closely with the international team and setting the APAC procurement and sourcing strategy.

Your new role

  • Sourcing suppliers and developing long-lasting relationships with both new and existing suppliers.
  • Implementing inventory optimisation strategies within the company to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Obtaining quotes from different suppliers and negotiating prices, quantities, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborating with legal counsel to ensure that all procurement contracts contain comprehensive details of the negotiation.
  • Assessing quotes and compiling detailed cost breakdowns for effective decision-making.
  • Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
  • Providing innovative solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing processes.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sourcing processes within the electronics industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
