Our client is a leading international FMCG company; they are looking for a Marketing Officer to join their Hong Kong team.

Your new role

1. Marketing Plan Implementation: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute marketing plans, including organizing exhibitions, marketing events, and promotional campaigns. Assist in ensuring all activities are properly executed within the set timelines and budget.
2. Copywriting and Optimization: Develop compelling and persuasive content for promotional campaigns. Optimize marketing materials to effectively communicate key messages and enhance customer engagement.
3. Support to Operation/Marketing Team: Provide comprehensive support to the operations and marketing teams by coordinating with internal departments and frontline staff. Ensure smooth communication and collaboration to achieve marketing objectives.
4. Marketing Research: Assist in conducting market research activities to gain valuable insights into consumer trends, preferences, and competitor analysis. Summarize findings and present them to the management team for informed decision-making.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Education and Experience: Possess a diploma or above in Business Administration or a related field. Ideally, you should have 1-2 years of relevant experience in the retail or FMCG industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of marketing principles and practices.
2. Content/Copywriting Expertise: Possess at least 2 years of experience in content or copywriting, specifically in the Chinese language. You should have a strong command of language and be able to craft engaging and persuasive marketing content.
3. Detail-oriented and Organized: Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, enabling you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality. You should be well-organized, efficient, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent Communication Skills: Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese. You should be able to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and communicate marketing messages clearly to our target audience.
5. Proficiency in Software Applications: Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as English and Chinese word processing software. Strong computer literacy will enable you to create and present marketing materials effectively.
