• A Regional Corporate Bank is looking for a Finance & Regulatory Reporting Manager.

Your new role

• Manage and supervise the regulatory reporting function for the Hong Kong Branch, ensuring accurate and timely submission of all necessary reports to relevant regulatory bodies.
• Take the lead as the finance expert for the HKMA regulatory reporting system. Your focus will include system configuration, rule setup, test planning, and managing other project-related tasks.
• Develop and establish comprehensive procedures manuals for HKMA regulatory returns.
• Ensure that all financial reports and outputs strictly adhere to the group financial control policies, procedures, and governance. Accuracy and consistency are paramount.
• Analyze complex financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct monthly projections and participate in annual budgeting exercises.
• Collaborate with an external consultant during the annual tax return submission process.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements).
• Forecasting costs and revenues.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting within the banking industry, preferably within Hong Kong's regulatory environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory reporting requirements, including but not limited to HKMA reporting guidelines.
• Proficient in written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese Cantonese and Mandarin.
