Our client is a globally recognised FMCG brand with a strong presence in Hong Kong. They are seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join their dynamic team and support the seamless flow of goods across international and domestic markets. Your Role
As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across transportation, inventory, and customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
Transportation Planning: Coordinate weekly inbound and outbound shipments between factories, warehouses, and customers.
Order Management: Create stock transfers and delivery orders, prepare shipping documents, and manage SAP postings for goods receipts/issues.
Performance Reporting: Deliver weekly KPI reports covering stock accuracy, financial accruals, and other operational metrics.
Supplier Collaboration: Act as the main contact for logistics service providers, handling claims, invoices, and proof-of-delivery verification.
Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels, manage ageing/damaged goods, execute scrapping in SAP, and lead physical/systematic inventory counts.
Project Leadership: Drive logistics initiatives such as distribution centre optimisation, transportation network improvements, sustainability projects, and compliance with global standards.
Customer Service: Process orders accurately, analyse service failures, and proactively communicate shortages or delays to customers.
Administrative Support: Handle additional tasks assigned by the Supply Chain Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
What you’ll need to succeed
Associate degree or equivalent education.
Proven experience managing logistics enquiries with customers and third-party providers.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Solid knowledge of SAP, particularly OTC processes and logistics functions.
Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English, verbal and written.
High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset.
Ability to manage challenging customer situations with professionalism.
Familiarity with international shipping and domestic freight distribution is preferred.
Background in FMCG or retail logistics and awareness of cost drivers in logistics service providers is advantageous.
