Our client is an American multinational organisation that specialises in electronics and hardware. As part of their expansion in the APAC region, they are looking to hire a Legal Counsel to join their team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel - APAC, and with daily interaction to business partners, this is a superb opportunity to enhance technical and stakeholder management skills.

Your new role

• Advising management and work with different departments to resolve any legal, employment and export compliance issues.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating international business contracts, leases, employment agreements and export related legal documents, etc.
• Conducting legal research and updating relevant company policy to comply with applicable legislations.
• Liaising with government departments and external counsels to manage occasional litigation case and other projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Hong Kong lawyer (minimum 6 years PQE) from reputable law firms or MNC.
• Strong analytical, project management and execution skills.
• Able to prioritise work effectively under pressure, adhere to deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and being attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently and also thrive in a team environment.
• Outgoing and pleasant personality with the ability to foster good working relationships with colleagues in different departments and other offices throughout APAC.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must.
