Our client is world leading FMCG and looking for an experienced Head of Supply Chain to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the GBA Supply Chain Team, leading the planning team, warehouse and logistics, and order fulfilment.
Your new role
- Lead the Supply Chain Transformation and collaborate with the whole BU to shape the supply chain of the future
- Drive and lead the team as well as work with other internal stakeholders with an ability to take the complex issues not limited to the supply chain, but consider the dynamic business change as a whole, articulate them simply to others within the team and across the organisation.
- Driving supply chain optimisation projects, directly accountable and responsible for the three functions being elements of Demand and Supply Planning, Warehouse and Distribution, and Customer Service
- Managing inventory, COG, and supply chain budget, accountability for the market BU P&L, is required alignment of different commercial and supply chain requirements across markets, alignment with central supply chain functions and goals.
- Facilitate sessions with business owners to create operations models experiments with a strong set of hypotheses to be tested and measurable performance improvement targets
- Building solutions from scratch, working collaboratively and with data, pulling internal and external resources using advanced analytics and technology to solve complex supplies. Chain issues
- Develop a high performing team, engage and drive the team to manage end-to-end supply chain operations to support business growth and ensure business continuity
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of working experience, ideally with 5 years', leading a department with a team size of at least 5 staff
- Prior experience in FMCG and having a commercial sense is a must.
- Excellent communication skills with different levels of counterparts, internal and external stakeholders
- High standards of team performance, have knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Occasional travel is required
