Head of Institutional Sales
Overview:
A renowned investment platform is hiring for a Head of institutional sales, to oversee the product sales team. This firm provides a full suite of services including securities brokerage, margin financing, corporate finance, underwriting, asset management, and cross‑border investment solutions. It serves institutional investors, asset owners, corporates, and high‑net‑worth clients across Asia.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the institutional sales team, driving revenue growth across fixed income, structured finance, and margin financing products.
- Develop and execute sales strategy targeting asset owners, asset managers, hedge funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, and large corporates in Asia.
- Strengthen client relationships by delivering integrated solutions across securities brokerage, corporate finance, underwriting, and asset management.
- Collaborate with product, research, and trading teams to provide tailored investment ideas, market insights, and execution services.
- Represent the firm externally at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance International’s brand and market presence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12–15 years of institutional sales experience, with proven leadership in fixed income distribution.
- Strong network among Greater China securities firms, insurance companies, asset owners and institutional investors (pensions, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, large corporates).
- Deep understanding of Hong Kong and Greater China market structures, with exposure to cross‑border flows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; ability to manage and mentor a high‑performing sales team.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred.
