• Define and implement the global credit control strategy aligned with business objectives
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, multi-regional credit control team
• Establish consistent policies, governance, and best practices across all markets
• Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on credit risk, collections, and cash flow optimization

• Oversee credit assessment, customer onboarding, and credit limit approvals
• Monitor exposure and proactively mitigate credit risks across diverse client portfolios
• Ensure robust controls and compliance with internal policies and external regulations

• Drive timely collections and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) globally
• Implement effective dispute resolution processes in collaboration with operations and sales teams
• Enhance cash forecasting accuracy and reporting transparency

• Standardize and streamline credit control processes across regions
• Leverage technology and automation to improve efficiency and reporting
• Lead key transformation initiatives, including system implementations and process re-engineering

• Partner with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance to balance growth with risk management
• Influence commercial decisions by embedding credit discipline into client negotiations
• Act as a key escalation point for complex or high-value accounts

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (professional qualification preferred)
• 15+ years of progressive experience in credit control, including leadership of global teams
• Proven experience in a servicing-based or B2B environment with complex client portfolios
• Strong understanding of international credit risk management practices and compliance
• Demonstrated ability to drive transformation and process improvement initiatives
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures
