Your new role

• Lead and manage the Compliance function, including a small team of professionals.

• Act as the KPIC under the Insurance Authority’s Fit and Proper Guidelines.

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.

• Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Insurance Authority and other relevant bodies.

• Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies, managing inspections, reporting, and correspondence.

• Provides strategic compliance advice to senior management and business units.

• Oversee the FCC framework, including AML/CFT policies, transaction monitoring, and suspicious transaction reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline;
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CAMS) are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance within the insurance or financial services industry, with strong exposure to both regulatory compliance and FCC.
• Proven experience in dealing with regulators and acting as KPIC or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
