A sizeable life insurer is looking for a department head to lead the FCC, regulatory, investment, product, and compliance monitoring team.

Your new role

• Design and implement the group's comprehensive compliance program, encompassing regulatory, financial crime, investment, conduct, and product compliance.

• Engage proactively with regulators to ensure timely updates to the company's policies and procedures, maintaining alignment with local regulatory requirements.

• Lead and develop internal training programs to foster an ethical and compliant work environment.

• Review and oversee the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports for the group office.

• Develop and implement a risk-based compliance monitoring program to ensure ongoing adherence to compliance standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields such as Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Business Management, or Law.

• Minimum 15 to 20 years of solid work experience in the financial industry, specifically in compliance and/or controls, with at least 5 years in a senior role.

• Solid and comprehensive knowledge of the insurance business, preferably with hands-on experience gained in the insurance industry.

• Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
