Our client is APAC leading E-Commerce Platform and is looking for an experienced Airflights Global Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in procuring transportation resources to meet the company's global shipment needs efficiently and cost-effectively. Through strategic relationship management and operational oversight, you will drive optimisation initiatives and ensure seamless logistics operations.

Your new role

• Develop and execute strategies for procuring air capacity in line with the company's international shipment schedule.
• Manage and develop productive relationships with international airlines and freight forwarders.

• Navigating the logistics market dynamics; previous experience in route management is desirable.

• Collaborate with airlines and freight forwarders to allocate cargo space and jointly manage operational irregularities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise air cargo operations and resolve logistical challenges proactively.
• Analyse operations and recommend innovative solutions to streamline processes and achieve cost efficiencies.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or related fields is a plus.
• 8+ years of work experience, with experience in air transportation routes and operations in air-freight forwarding, familiar with European and American air transportation routes.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage logistics during high demand periods.5. Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and adapt quickly to changes.
• Demonstrable negotiation skills for managing relationships with vendor companies.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin is a must
