Our client is a global leading lingerie manufacturer with proven innovation, exceptional craftsmanship, and sustainable practices. They are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Garment Technician Assistant Manager to join their team and contribute to the development and production of their lingerie collections.

Your new role

• Assist in managing the technical development phase of lingerie products from initial concept to final production.
• Collaborate with the design team to interpret and translate design concepts into technical specifications and patterns.
• Conduct and supervise fit sessions, providing technical input to improve garment fit and comfort.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure design integrity and quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including size specifications, grading, and construction details.
• Implement and oversee quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and other team members in technical skills and company procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to troubleshoot any technical issues during garment production.
• Assist in the innovation and implementation of new materials and technologies to enhance product performance.
• Provide technical expertise and support in the creation of marketing materials, ensuring accurate representation of product specifications.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in garment technology, specifically in lingerie or intimate apparel.
• Strong understanding of pattern making, grading, garment construction, and textile properties.
• Proficiency in garment fitting and sizing for lingerie products.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software for garment design and manufacturing.
• A passion for lingerie and a commitment to producing high-quality, innovative products.
