A growing life insurer is looking for a financial crime compliance candidate with advisory skills and insurance exposure to join the team.

Your new role

• Provide FCC advisory support across business units, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

• Assist in reviews and assessments of FCC controls, including AML/CTF, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring frameworks.

• Support initiatives related to FATCA and CRS compliance, including due diligence, reporting, and remediation.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance FCC policies, procedures, and training programs.

• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business, providing timely guidance and recommendations.

• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections related to financial crime compliance.

• Prepare and present reports to senior management and governance committees on FCC matters.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial crime compliance, with a strong focus on advisory and review functions.

• Solid understanding of FATCA and CRS regulations and their application within the financial industry.

• Proven experience in the insurance sector is required.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
