Your new company

Our client is one of the leading insurance companies in the region. They are now looking for employee benefits underwriting manager/ assistant manager for their team.

Your new role

• Lead the underwriting team to conduct group insurance underwriting and risk assessment, including group life and group health products.

• Monitor daily processes for workflow and process across BU.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance and informed decision-making.

• Provide support in negotiating terms with clients, explaining complex underwriting decisions.

• Liaise with reinsures on underwriting assessment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Over 7 years underwriting experience in medical/ health/ life/ employee benefits insurance

• Solid medical and underwriting knowledge

• Good interpersonal and people management skills

• Literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Underwriting Manager
