Our client is one of the leading insurance companies in the region. They are now looking for employee benefits underwriting manager/ assistant manager for their team.
Your new role
Lead the underwriting team to conduct group insurance underwriting and risk assessment, including group life and group health products.
Monitor daily processes for workflow and process across BU.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance and informed decision-making.
Provide support in negotiating terms with clients, explaining complex underwriting decisions.
Liaise with reinsures on underwriting assessment.
What you'll need to succeed
Over 7 years underwriting experience in medical/ health/ life/ employee benefits insurance
Solid medical and underwriting knowledge
Good interpersonal and people management skills
Literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Underwriting Manager
