Your new role

• Conduct in‑depth macroeconomic, market, and policy analysis across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and global markets.
• Produce timely economic reports, forecasts, and research publications for internal and external stakeholders.
• Advise business units on market trends, regulatory changes, and economic risks impacting lending, investment, and corporate strategy.
• Support annual strategy formulation, asset allocation discussions, and senior management briefings.
• Collaborate with product, risk, and strategy teams to translate research insights into actionable business recommendations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Econometrics, or related disciplines; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in macroeconomic or market research, ideally in banking or financial institutions.
• Strong analytical capability with proficiency in economic modelling, statistical tools, and data interpretation.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to distil complex findings into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of Hong Kong and Mainland economic environments, policy trends, and financial market structures.
