• Policy Formulation and Implementation: Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, ensuring the organization’s alignment with legal and regulatory mandates.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation Strategies: Conduct thorough assessments of KYC and AML risks. Develop effective strategies and action plans to mitigate these identified risks.
• Vigilant Compliance Monitoring: Diligently monitor adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards. Swiftly identify any areas of non-compliance and take proactive measures.
• Employee Training and Awareness: Provide comprehensive training and education to employees on critical compliance matters, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and data privacy.
• Incident Investigation and Resolution: Investigate compliance-related incidents, complaints, or concerns meticulously. Take decisive and appropriate action to address any issues promptly.
• Transparent Reporting: Regularly report to senior management and regulatory bodies on the organization’s compliance status, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Precise Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of compliance activities, including audits and investigations, to demonstrate the organization’s fulfilment of regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and sustain relationships with regulatory bodies and auditors, staying informed about regulatory changes and compliance expectations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Law / Business / Risk or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in AML or general compliance, preferably in a financial institution / fintech / technology company
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of English
