Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and long-term growth plans
- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board on performance, capital allocation, M&A, and risk management
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across the Group
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with HKFRS / IFRS
- Oversee interim and annual reporting, announcements, circulars, and disclosures in compliance with HKEX Listing Rules, and other regulatory requirements
- Act as a key point of contact with auditors, regulators, and professional advisors
Corporate Governance & Controls
- Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks
- Support the Board, Audit Committee, and other committees on governance, financial controls, and compliance matters
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance codes and best practices for Hong Kong–listed companies
Capital Management & Treasury
- Oversee cash flow management, funding, banking relationships, and treasury operations
- Lead equity and debt financing activities, including rights issues, placings, or bond issuances
- Manage foreign exchange, interest rate, and liquidity risks
Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management
- Lead investor relations strategy, including results briefings, analyst meetings, and shareholder communications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, banks, and other key stakeholders
- Support the CEO in market communications and capital market positioning
M&A and Corporate Development
- Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and strategic investments
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-merger integration
- Work closely with legal, tax, and external advisors on transaction execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CPA is strongly preferred
- Minimum 15–25 years of relevant financial experience, including senior leadership roles
- Proven experience as CFO, Deputy CFO, or Financial Controller of a Hong Kong–listed company
- Prior audit experience is preferred
- Biotech/ Life Sciences industry background is a PLUS
- Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin.
