• A Well Established Bank is hiring a Business Manager under their Treasury and Equities COO Global Market function.

Your new role

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability to changes and challenges.
• Assist business line management in day-to-day operational and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth business operations, especially in Treasury and Equities businesses.
• Collaborate with Global Markets team to execute strategic plans and priorities, aligning them with functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with Group and regulatory policies by designing site-specific procedures and internal control workflows.
• Prepare detailed product papers for new offerings, services, or processes.
• Support the adoption of new business initiatives within the organization.
• Analyze regulatory changes and their impact on different product classes, liaising with internal and external regulatory bodies.
• Lead initiatives to optimize direct and indirect costs and enhance front-office to back-office operations.
• Participate in system development workgroups, conduct business impact analysis, and monitor project progress.
• Foster strong working relationships with other business support and functional teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of five years of experience in banking or financial institutions.
• Preferably, experience in product development, business planning/management, and risk and control management.
• Familiarity with the Market Treasury and Equity business within the Global Markets COO office is advantageous.
• Excellent project planning and management abilities.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability to changes and challenges.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Demonstrates a sense of ownership and a service-oriented mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
