Our client is a global leader in the die-cutting industry – they develop innovative rotary converting solutions. They are now looking for a business development manager to develop existing & new market segments.
Your new role
- Business development strategy: Developing and executing new market strategies to achieve sustainable growth in sales in a dynamic landscape.
- Market Analysis: Analysing market trends and identifying new opportunities for business growth.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborating within Sales (key account managers, team ROW/USA & Asia, marketing) and internal teams such as (sales) engineering, R&D to align strategies and meet client/market segment needs.
- Client/Partner Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key prospects, OEM’s, Agents by understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction, based on frequent client visits & calls.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieving sales targets by identifying prospects and partners in new markets/growth areas.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiating terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts with the client.
- Reporting and Analytics: Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics, tracking progress, and identifying areas for improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- More than 7 years working experience, of which >3 years in international sales roles
- Completed bachelor's degree in the field of engineering and/or business administration
- Several years of relevant work experience with automated logistics systems, engineer to order and demonstrable sales experience
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent command of English plus preferably one other language[MvP1] (Japanese, German, French, Spanish….etc.)
- Good command of the entire MS Office package
