Business Development Manager (B2B Industrial Machinery Sales)

Our client is an EU leading industrial machinery tooling. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in accelerating growth and expanding their presence in APAC.

Your new role

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to achieve sustainable sales growth in a dynamic market.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and internal teams, to align strategies and meet client needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key prospects, OEMs, and agents through regular client visits and communication.
  • Achieve sales targets by identifying prospects and partners in new markets and growth areas.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, and contracts with clients.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or business administration.
  • Minimum of 7 years of working experience, with at least 3 years in international sales roles.
  • Several years of relevant experience with automated logistics systems and demonstrable sales success.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including outside working hours and on weekends, but with the work from home flexibility
  • Fluent command of the English language, with proficiency in an additional language preferred (Japanese, Spanish, German or French)
