This Reputable enterprise organisation is expanding its business and is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery. Of data-driven and AI‑enabled initiatives. You will be working closely with technical teams on high‑impact initiatives across data, analytics, and AI platforms.

Your new role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, analytical, and self‑driven technical BA to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business needs into clear, system‑level requirements and documentation, ensuring solutions are well‑defined, buildable, and testable. You will work primarily with developers and technical teams, while retaining the ability to extract critical information from stakeholders by asking the right questions and challenging assumptions when required. The role requires strong experience in system documentation, data products, UI/UX specifications, and test scripts, with a proactive, delivery‑focused mindset.

• Act as a Technical Business Analyst / System Analyst supporting AI and data‑driven initiatives.
• Analyse and translate high‑level or ambiguous requirements into clear, structured system specifications.
• Produce high‑quality documentation, including functional/system requirements, data flows, and interface specification.
• Document UI/UX behaviour, user flows, validation rules, and error handling from a system perspective.
• Define and maintain test scenarios and test scripts, covering happy paths, negative cases, and data variation.
• Use testing activities to identify requirement gaps and ambiguities early
• Work closely with developers, QA, and delivery teams throughout the build lifecycle
• Proactively identify risks, assumptions, and dependencies, raising issues early to reduce delivery risk
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis, documentation, and delivery practices

What you'll need to succeed

• 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Technical BA
• Strong experience producing system and functional documentation for technical teams
• Proven capability in writing test scenarios and test scripts
• Experience working on data products, analytics platforms, or AI‑enabled initiatives
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles from a requirements and system documentation perspective
• Strong ability to ask structured, relevant questions to clarify requirements and remove ambiguity
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
• Comfortable working closely with developers and technical stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese.
• Proactive, hands‑on, and willing to take ownership and initiative
