A foreign securities firm is looking for Analyst - Senior Associate to join their Cash Securities Trade Support & Settlement team.

Your new role

• Validate and confirm daily cash securities trades (equities, bonds, ETFs) executed by the front office

• Monitor trade flow from execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy in booking and reporting

• Resolve trade breaks, unmatched trades, and discrepancies with brokers, custodians, and clearing houses

• Manage settlement instructions in accordance with market deadlines and regulatory requirements

• Liaise with custodians, brokers, and clearing houses to ensure timely settlement of trades

• Perform cash and stock reconciliations, investigating and resolving differences promptly

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, market regulations, and operational risk standards

• Escalate settlement issues, failed trades, and potential risks to management

• Participate in system UAT, workflow enhancements, and automation initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline

• 2–5 years of experience in cash securities operations, trade support, or settlement

• Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, and settlement cycles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

• Fluent in English and Cantonese
