I am currently partnering with a large group to hire an assistant cybersecurity manager to support their operations due to team expansion.

Your new role

• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Manager to develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents and coordinate appropriate response actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness and training programs for employees.
• Review system logs, network traffic, and security event information to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
• Assist in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably as a Security Analyst, Security Engineer, or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, log management tools, and antivirus solutions.
• Familiarity with IT security management frameworks and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
• Solid understanding of incident response procedures and methodologies.
