Assistant / Legal Counsel, Property Developer

Your new company
Our client is a home-grown Hong Kong brand which develops exceptional projects encompassing residential, commercial, and industrial spaces, along with top-notch serviced apartments and hotels. To support their development of new property sites, they are now looking for an Assistant/ Legal Manager to join their team.
Your new role
- Draft and review offer letters, tenancy agreements, and license agreements for commercial buildings and serviced apartments in various locations in Hong Kong.
- Draft, review, and translate operating agreements and technical consulting agreements.
- Prepare and draft sales brochures, tender documents in compliance with the First-hand Sales Ordinance.
- Assessing and examining initial drafts of Deed of Mutual Covenant (DMC) for new development projects.
- Review and approve marketing materials for development projects.
- Participate in any assigned ad hoc projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Hong Kong qualified lawyer with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience gained from law firms or in-house environment
- Legal exposure in conveyancing and first-hand sales
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
