Our client is an established international Asset Management Firm who is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for maintaining existing clients' relationships, while expanding their wholesale channels to drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong business development personality who thrives in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Your new role

  • Identify and target potential wholesale clients, developing strategies to generate new business leads and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales. Finance related exposure is preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree with proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
