A Global leading international freight forwarding organisation is seeking a Air freight officer to support its Air Freight division. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team driving operational excellence and process optimisation across regional operations. Reporting to the Process Management Team Lead, you will play a key role in standardising processes, monitoring project progress, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Your new role
- Develop, document and maintain guidelines for task and project management processes
- Monitor and update internal procedures, ensuring timely communication to relevant stakeholders
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing detailed reports with actionable insights
- Provide regular updates on project and task progress to regional headquarters (RHQ)
- Act as a key liaison point between local teams and RHQ on project queries and operational matters
- Support the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) alongside task team leaders
- Identify project risks and delays, proposing practical solutions to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and coordinate regular progress review sessions
- Organise workshops and training sessions to enhance process understanding and execution across teams
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience within the freight forwarding industry
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks
- Understanding of international freight forwarding operations and process improvement concepts
- Strong analytical skills to assess project progress, risks, and issues
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of MS Project will be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to translate business needs into structured processes and actionable plans
- Proactive, well-organised and detail-oriented with a positive learning attitude.
- A team player with strong ownership and a results-driven mindset
