The Specifications Manager is responsible for driving product specifications with architects, designers, and consultants to ensure the company’s materials are incorporated into project tender documents. This role focuses on influencing project decision-makers at an early stage, building strong industry relationships, and securing specifications that translate into business opportunities.

Your new role

• Engage proactively with architects, designers, and consultants to specify company products in project tenders.
• Identify and track upcoming construction projects to secure early-stage specifications.
• Build a healthy pipeline of specification opportunities to support business growth.

• Develop and maintain strong professional networks within architectural and design communities.
• Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and technical seminars.
• Position the company as a trusted partner for construction materials solutions.

• Provide technical advice and system recommendations based on project requirements.
• Deliver product presentations and propose suitable solutions to consultants and designers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive specifications.

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and project developments.
• Provide market feedback to support strategic decision-making.

• Work closely with sales and technical teams to convert specifications into sales orders.
• Support tender processes to ensure alignment with project requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in specification sales or technical roles within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of engagement with architects, designers, and consultants.
• Established industry network is highly preferred.
• Experience with construction materials such as Adhesives, Coatings, Finishing products, Admixtures, Flooring systems, Sealing solutions
