  • Lead and contribute to the design and development of professional vessels
  • Adapt and customise existing vessel platforms to meet operational, technical, and regulatory requirements

  • Support the integration of mission‑specific systems and equipment for law enforcement, firefighting, and rescue applications
  • Perform structural analysis and scantling calculations using tools such as HullScant

  • Ensure vessel designs comply with applicable ISO standards, including ISO 12215 and ISO 12217
  • Develop, review, and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
  • Support prototyping, testing, sea trials, and validation activities as required
  • Collaborate closely with production, sales, and project management teams to ensure design‑for‑manufacture and delivery alignment
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities and headquarters as required to support project execution and technical oversight
  • Apply hydrodynamic and performance prediction tools, including Maxsurf or equivalent software

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related discipline
  • Exposure to professional, commercial, rescue, or mission‑specific vessels is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Rhino, or similar
  • Experience with HullScant, Maxsurf, or comparable naval architecture tools
  • Hands‑on experience conducting FEA
  • Strong R&D and project mindset, with the ability to work independently
  • Fluent English and Chinese strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites and headquarters

What you'll get in return

This role offers the opportunity to work on mission‑critical vessels with real‑world impact, alongside international teams and global design partners.
