Colour Technician / Assistant Colour Specialist

Our client is a creative street wear business with a strong global presence and an expanding international supply network. With colour consistency playing a key role in brand identity and product execution, the organisation continues to invest in building a reliable and well-structured colour operation to support both development and bulk production stages.
They are now seeking an additional team member to support daily colour and raw‑material activities within their regional colour function.

Your role
This position sits within the Colour team and focusses on operational, technical, and administrative support. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure colour information, samples, and data are handled accurately and efficiently, while gradually developing hands-on experience in colour evaluation and approval workflows.

  • Manage day-to-day sample logistics, including receiving, sorting, distributing, and dispatching parcels
  • Maintain orderly and up-to-date core and seasonal colour references for team use
  • Arrange colour standard requests and keep all related documentation properly recorded and filed
  • Update systems with colour feedback, approval status, and supporting information in a timely manner.
  • Perform basic colour measurements using laboratory equipment in accordance with team guidelines.
  • Support communication between the Colour team and suppliers when submission issues arise
  • Assist with tracking and reviewing colour approval data and reports
  • Provide support in colour review activities, particularly during first bulk submission and shade band alignment

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Diploma or degree in Textiles, Clothing, or a related academic background
  • Up to two years of relevant experience in apparel, textiles, or a color‑related function; graduates with strong interest are encouraged to apply
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and good organisational skills
  • Comfortable working with data and using standard office software such as Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both written and spoken
