As part of its ongoing expansion, a well-established property developer is hiring a Senior Technical Services Manager to lead a sizeable team responsible for the maintenance and operation of a high-profile shopping mall and commercial buildings.
Your new role
- Lead end-to-end technical services and facilities management for a large-scale mixed-use commercial complex, covering building services, infrastructure and asset performance.
- Plan, control and deliver R&M, A&A and tenant fit-out works, including standards setting, tendering, contractor management and quality assurance.
- Drive budgeting, procurement and cost control, ensuring effective outsourcing strategies, value optimisation and strong governance.
- Ensure robust risk management, statutory compliance and health & safety performance through systems, audits and incident prevention.
- Support sustainability and efficiency initiatives, including energy management, ESG-related programmes and smart building applications.
- Lead, structure and develop a high-performing technical team, aligning capabilities with operational needs and future requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or related disciplines.
- 15+ years’ senior technical management experience in large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments.
- Strong expertise in building systems, facilities operations, risk management and statutory compliance.
- Member of a recognised professional body (HKIE, BSOMES, CIBSE, IMECHE or other related institutions)
- Proven people leader with strong analytical, stakeholder and problem‑solving skills; experience with smart buildings or digital FM is an advantage.
