Our client is a well-established international manufacturer with production operations across Asia and Europe. To support their growing quality and compliance needs, they are seeking an experienced QA Manager to act as a key quality interface between Hong Kong, Mainland China, and France. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-cultural manufacturing environment and enjoys being close to the production floor.
Your role
Reporting to regional stakeholders, you will take ownership of quality assurance activities across multiple factories and ensure products consistently meet internal and client standards. You will work closely with overseas offices, suppliers, and testing partners throughout the complete manufacturing lifecycle.
Your role
- Act as the main quality liaison between Hong Kong, China factories, and the France office.
- Oversee quality performance of factories in China, including supervision of on-site QC teams
- Manage end-to-end quality assurance from project kick-off through to final shipment approval
- Lead investigations into quality concerns, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare structured reports for overseas stakeholders and clients covering quality issues, audit findings, and factory assessments
- Coordinate with external laboratories on testing requirements, review results, and communicate technical feedback to relevant parties.
- Conduct factory evaluations, production follow-ups, and on-site visits as required
- Support and manage factory audits, compliance checks, and certification processes.
- Travel periodically between Hong Kong and Mainland China to support operational needs
What you’ll need to succeed
- Solid technical knowledge of garment accessories and metal components, including tooling, moulds, and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience in quality management within a manufacturing or factory environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven experience handling complaints and quality incidents
- Familiarity with factory audits, compliance standards, and testing protocols
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, especially when working with overseas stakeholders
- Willingness to travel on an ad-hoc basis within the region
- Prior factory management experience within a relevant industry will be a strong advantage.
