Our client is an APAC leading pharmaceutical organisation with established operations in Hong Kong. The business is investing in supply chain excellence and is seeking an experienced manager to lead end‑to‑end planning and logistics while ensuring compliance in a highly regulated market. This role oversees demand and supply planning, 3PL governance, and shipment execution. The position acts as the primary interface between global planners, local stakeholders, distributors, and authorities to safeguard product availability and service performance.
Your new role
- Drive the end‑to‑end monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring cross‑functional alignment with Commercial, Marketing, Field Force, and Regulatory stakeholders on business assumptions, demand outlook, and inventory strategies.
- Lead demand planning and replenishment processes, coordinating closely with global supply teams to arrange flexible shipment plans and proactively address potential supply constraints.
- Oversee distributor and 3PL performance, including KPI design, service‑level monitoring, inventory movement, delivery accuracy, and customer service quality.
- Serve as the key point of contact for global planning counterparts, monitoring supply updates and translating global production and allocation plans into actionable local execution.
- Manage sales order creation and inventory governance for distributor partners, ensuring stock availability is maintained at optimal levels.
- Supervise logistics operations across inbound and outbound flows, covering import/export licencing requirements and collaboration with freight forwarding partners.
- Coordinate with Customs and the Department of Health on inspections, regulatory documentation, and compliance‑related enquiries.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant supply chain/logistics experience; 3+ years in a managerial capacity. Pharmaceutical industry exposure is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical compliance requirements, particularly in handling vaccine-related logistics and documentation.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics operations and cross-functional coordination.
- High sense of responsibility, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
