To support their growing logistics operations, they are seeking a Transport and Trade Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives within the region.

Your Role
As the Transport and Trade Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end procurement activities for transportation and trade services across the logistics region. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to secure competitive agreements that align with business objectives and sustainability goals.

Your Role Will Include
  • Leading the full procurement cycle, from initial planning and tendering to supplier selection and contract execution.
  • Ensuring all sourcing activities comply with category strategies, operational targets, and sustainability commitments.
  • Engaging cross-functional teams to define requirements, assess risks, and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Partnering with central and regional contract managers to implement optimal negotiation and commercial strategies.
  • Presenting procurement outcomes and providing recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Conducting market research, benchmarking, and due diligence to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintaining compliance with governance processes, procurement policies, and ethical standards.
  • Driving continuous improvement in procurement tools, processes, and reporting for greater transparency and efficiency.
  • Staying informed on global logistics trends, KPIs, and risk factors to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
  • Identifying and promoting sustainability initiatives within transport and trade procurement.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Extensive experience in procurement and negotiation within logistics and transportation services.
  • Strong knowledge of global standards, local regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across multiple regions and levels of seniority.
  • Solid understanding of supplier performance metrics, sustainability criteria, and risk management.
  • Analytical and financial acumen with a focus on driving value and profitability.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex sourcing projects across multiple markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions.
  • A structured yet adaptable approach to problem-solving and delivering quick wins.
